Removing vendor-level data from a database

When converting your environment to use a Centralized Vendor Metadata Database (CVMD), you must first create and implement the CVMD. Once that is accomplished, the vendor-level data and metadata can be removed from the customer database.

To remove the vendor-level data and metadata, use a Command Line Interface (CLI). Navigate to the folder where your Mongoose-based resides and use this command:

Infordbcl.exe removemetadata -config:databaseName 

where databaseName is the name of the database from which you want to remove the vendor-level data and metadata.
