Send External Notifications
To allow the system to send an email to the specified address, select this option.
Note: This option functions independently of the
Email Notification field on the
Report Options form.
This option applies only to these cases:
- If this user is set up to receive reports by email. (See Emailing Reports.)
- If this user is subscribed to publications on the Publications form.
- If an application event of type Notify has occurred.
If you do not provide a notification address, the selected user cannot receive emails to an external address.
Note: The Forms Database Name field on the Sites (or Sites/Entities) form must be
populated properly before external notifications can be sent.
