Purging active background tasks

Use the Active Background Task Purge Utility to remove pending background tasks. The utility can be useful when a user accidentally creates a large number of tasks, for example, reprinting all invoices when they intended to reprint a single invoice. Tasks like these split into an individual task per document, so thousands of tasks can be created at once.

To purge active background tasks:

  1. Open the Active Background Tasks Purge Utility form.
  2. Select the task name from the Task Name drop-down list.
  3. Select the user name from the User Name drop-down list.
  4. Click Process.
