Creating a data service within a project

To create a data service within a project using the Wizard, follow this procedure:

Note: The procedure to create a data service in the App Builder Repository using the Wizard is similar, but not exactly the same. See Creating a data service in the Repository.
  1. On the Properties panel, click Manage Data Services.
  2. In the Project Data Services dialog box, click + Add Data Service.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Create from Wizard.
  4. In the Create from Wizard dialog box, select the source for the data service:
    • ION API - This option allows you to select from among the many API Gateway or ION APIs available to you, based on your licensed product suites.
    • Local IDO - This option allows you to select a Mongoose IDO.
    • Static List - This option allows you to create a static list of data values.
  5. Click Next.
