App Builder Image components in converted Mongoose forms

When an App builder is "copied to" or converted to be, a Mongoose form, Image components need special handling to map correctly to the Mongoose form.

During the conversion process, image mapping follows these principles:

  • If the image file has been incorporated in App Builder using a base64/ URL link, the image is first copied into the global image repository in Mongoose, and then placed appropriately in the form.
  • If the image file has been incorporated in App Builder using an Infor Document Management (IDM) hosted file, then the image file is stored in an IDO and then mapped appropriately to the Mongoose form.
