Importing a composite component from a file

There are multiple ways to acquire a composite component for use in your App Builder project. You can, for instance, import it from a file created in another App Builder project.

To import a composite component from a file into your project, use this procedure:

  1. With your App Builder project open, on the Components panel, select the Composite tab.
  2. Click Manage Composite Components.
  3. In the Project Composite Components dialog box, click Import from File.
  4. In the Import New dialog box, click the folder icon and navigate to and "open" the composite component (*.iac) file to import.
  5. Click Import.
  6. Click Close.
App Builder imports the composite component and adds it to the list of available composite components in your project.
