Creating a URL variable

Before you can use a URL variable in your App Builder project, you must create the variable.

To create a URL variable, use this procedure:

  1. From the More (•••) menu, select Manage URL Variables.
  2. In the Manage URL Variables dialog box, provide a name for the New URL Variable.
  3. Optionally, provide a Description.
    This description is for your own identification purposes only. End users do not see it.
  4. Click the plus (+) icon.
    App Builder adds the new variable to the list of Existing URL Variables.
  5. Click Save.
You can now use this URL variable as the Source for a component value.
