Locating an IDO

If the App Builder Repository has a great number of local IDOs (Intelligent Data Objects) in it, you can use the Search function to more easily locate the one you want.

To locate a particular IDO in the Repository, use this procedure:

  1. With the App Builder Repository open, locate the Search field on the IDOs tab.
    (It is the field with the magnifying glass icon.)
  2. Type in the string of characters on which to search.
    Use a string that you know exists in either the Name, the Description, or the Project column. Although the App Builder Respository search does not allow for the use of wild cards, you can search on a partial string, such as a part of a word.
  3. Press ENTER.
App Builder returns a list of all IDOs that contain the string you typed.
