Using an IDM-based image

One way to incorporate images in your project is to use an Image component in conjunction with an image file hosted in the Infor Document Management (IDM) app.

This approach requires that the image file be created and imported into the Infor Document Management before you perform this procedure. For information on how to do that, consult the IDM documentation.

To use an IDM-based image in your project, use this process:

Create the data service for the image component.

Set up the code to call the image file.
See Getting the code to call the image file.
Import and configure the data service for the image file.
See Finishing the Image component data service.
Create the interaction to access the image file.
See Creating the interaction for the Image component.

As soon as the last procedure is performed, the image displays in your project.
