Editing a URL variable

If, after you have created a URL variable, you decide you want to change it—for example, to change its name—you can do so.

To edit a URL variable, use this procedure:

  1. With your App Builder project open, from the More (•••) menu, select Manage URL Variables.
  2. In the Manage URL Variables dialog box, edit the name or description for the desired URL variable.
  3. Click Save.
App Builder saves your changes. If you changed the name, the new name is automatically changed anywhere it is used in your app.
Note: Changing the name of the URL variable in App Builder requires that you also change the references to it in URLs from any other apps or web serivces that might be passing values to your app as inbound variables.
