Automation module
This license allows other applications to connect to SyteLine through the IDO layer. If you have an Infor application such as APS that is connecting to SyteLine, you do not need an additional Automation license.
However, integrations to external applications such as the SyteLine SharePoint IDO web parts and the SyteLine Outlook add-in require the Automation license module in order to log in to SyteLine and collect data. Infor allows you to request automation licenses equal to the number of Transactional licenses your company buys.
If you plan to have custom applications connecting to SyteLine through the IDO layer, you may need to buy additional Automation licenses in order to have enough licenses for each application connection. This license module is always assigned the session type IDO.
