Pilot database licensing

You might want to make copies of your production systems for piloting, testing or development work. For pilot databases, you can ask Customer Service to generate a new production database license key based on the old production key, with these constraints:

• The licenses that are created are valid indefinitely.
• The database name of the pilot database must be the same name as the production database with a "_plt1", "_plt2" or "_plt3" appended to the end of the name.
• The number of users allowed for user-based modules is limited to 10 users, or 20 percent of the production database license count, whichever is greater.
