Forms used in license administration
License administration is performed using these SyteLine forms:
- License Management: This form indicates the dates when the license begins and ends, which modules are licensed, and how many licensed users you have.
- Licensed Modules: This form lists the modules for which your company is licensed in the current site. This is helpful for users who cannot access the License Management form.
- User Modules: This form
associates user names with license modules. Note: With usage-tracking, this form is not needed or checked. Any existing User Modules assignments are ignored.
- License Modules Per User
Connection: This form lists the license module names associated with each
current user connection.
Only connections from the current site are shown.
Under the usage-tracking license, this form only shows the module after a user opens at least one form that belongs to that module. Any existing User Module assignments are ignored.
- License Module Concurrent User
Counts: This form lists all the license module names that are currently
associated with a user connection, as well as the total number of users who are consuming a
license on each module. Use this form to monitor whether your purchased license count is
appropriate for the number of simultaneous logins at peak times.
Under the usage-tracking license, this form only shows the module after a user opens at least one form that belongs to that module.
- Session Management: Use this form to view current user sessions, and to delete user sessions when necessary. This form also includes a column to indicate the session type.
- Modules for Form: On this form, you can filter by form name to identify license modules that are used to track usage of that form. You can also filter by license module to identify forms that are associated with that module.
- Optional Modules: This form lists the optional modules that are available by site. A system administrator must use this form to enable the base SyteLine features of optional modules for a site.
