Infor Rate Shopping - TM Overview

This is an overview of the integration to Infor Rate Shopping - TM. The purpose of this integration is for SyteLine to leverage Infor TM as a transportation solution. Once TransportationManagement is enabled on the Optional Modules form, you can perform these actions:

  • Select the Freight API Server ID on the Order Entry Parameters form.
  • Identify if a carrier is hazardous material certified on the Carriers form.
  • Select a road type as part of Mode of Transport option 3 on the Ship Via Codes form.
  • Provide length, height, and width on the Items and Multi-Site Items forms as well as package type and max quantity per package.
  • Provide hazardous and class information in the Transportation Management area on the Items and Multi-Site Items forms.
  • Add hazardous material classes on the Hazardous Material Classes form.
  • Add hazardous material package groups on the Hazardous Material Package Groups form.
  • Add national motor freight classes on the National Motor Freight Classes form.
  • Add freight classes on the Freight Classes form.
  • Use the Rate Shopping button on the Customer Orders and Shipment Master forms to open the Rate Shopping form which displays read-only information including shipping information and currency information.
  • View NMFC and freight class information on the Pack Confirmation form.
  • View whether an item is hazardous on the Pack Confirmation form.
  • Set the default shipment dimension unit of measure on the Inventory Parameters form.
  • View the external freight amount on the Customer Orders form.
  • View the carrier service type on the Shipment Master form.
  • View the External BOL number from TM on the Shipment Master form.
  • View external freight cost, external status, and any error messages from TM on the Shipment Master form.
  • Generate a shipment BOD with the Send Shipment BOD button on the Shipment Master form.
  • View the pro number and the load number on the Shipment Tracking form.
  • View ship via code, carrier service type, and pickup date information on the Ship Confirmation form.
