Configuration Warning
This form is a read-only form that displays a list of warnings after you have configured a job and clicked . The form is not displayed if there are no warnings. Processing is not stopped, but you must click to continue.
If the form is displayed, it means a non-inventoried item has been included in a sub-job. You can read the message text for each warning in the form. The first sequence number message is the warning. The next two or three sequence rows tell you exactly what has caused the warning and what can not proceed due to the warning. If there are multiple warnings, they are all displayed in the form.
This form does not stop the process from proceeding, and it does not solve any problems. It just informs you that there will be a problem during production. If you click , the form goes away and the configuration continues.
If this form is displayed, it is a good idea to inform the Product Manager and the person who creates the configuration rules.
To ensure that this form does not display, create sub-job creating rules in CPQ that validate the Sub Job Item.
