Resource Final Queue Report

During operation processing, if the Scheduler cannot allocate a required resource to a load, it places a request in the request queue of each member resource of the required resource group. Depending on how busy a resource is, its request queue may contain several requests at any given time. Use this report to display a detailed listing of the loads waiting for a particular resource at the time the Scheduling activity ended.

To specify that the Scheduling activity should capture this information, you must select the Final Queue Data field on the Resources form for each resource you want to track.

For a given resource, this report displays:

  • The resource group the waiting load was requesting.
  • ID of the waiting load (this is usually "1," unless the operation is split or overlapping).
  • Size of the waiting load (usually the job quantity).
  • Operation ID.
  • The date/time the load arrived at the resource for processing.
