Job Lot Splitting

Use this form to split a job into two jobs.

The Lots tab is enabled when Preassign Lots is selected on the Job Orders form for this job, and the Serials tab is enabled when Preassign Serials is selected on the Job Orders form for this job.

Use the Material Split Qty/Cost/Overhead Adjustment tab to adjust the quantity and cost for materials.

Use the Operation Split Qty/Cost Adjustment tab to adjust the quantity and cost for operations.

Note: 
  • If you issue materials to a job prior to splitting it, the system issues the entire amount to the new job.
  • If you split a rework job, the newly created job will also be a rework job.
  • You cannot split jobs that are cross referenced to a project, job, or sub job.
