Delete Job Transactions

Use this utility to delete transaction records from the job transaction file. (You insert Job Transaction records into this file manually and use the Job Labor Transaction Posting feature to post them.) You can delete this type of record only by using the Delete Job Transactions utility.

Use these transactions to help you track all job labor activity. Payroll also uses these transactions to generate payroll transactions. After a period of time, these records lose relevancy. This utility allows you to determine when to delete these Transaction records.

You can control the type of transactions to delete by entering values in the option fields (for which you are prompted when you enter this utility). You can select to delete transactions that match the values you enter for these constraints:

  • Start and end date
  • Transaction type
  • Transaction number
  • Job number
  • Employee number
