Exception Message Priorities

The MRP, APS, and MPS Processor programs generate several exception messages. Exception messages describe any discrepancies that occur when you run these programs.

Set the priority of each message by clicking in the Priority Level field and entering the appropriate priority number. Priorities can range from 00 to 99 (00 being the highest priority and 99 the lowest).

You use this priority to filter out messages that you consider less important when you generate the Exceptions Report. The Exceptions Report allows you to print only the items that have exceptions with a priority greater than or equal to the number chosen.

See About Exception Messages for a list of the exception messages and their meaning.
