Change Cost Rates

Use this utility to apply new cost rates to a range of job, item current, estimate, and production schedule routings/BOMs. It applies the rates from the Product Codes, Work Centers, or Departments forms to the selected routings/BOMs.

On the routings/BOMs for the selected Mfg Types, these fields are updated:

Fixed Material and Variable Material Overhead: These rates default from the General tab of the product code of each material. These rates are stored as a percentage.
Fixed and Variable Overhead: These rates default from the department associated with the work center used in the operations. These rates are stored as (local currency) per labor hour.
Setup Rate, Efficiency, Run Rate, Fixed Machine and Variable Machine Overhead: These rates default from the Work Center form, Costing tab. Efficiency is stored as a percentage. The other rates are stored as (local currency) per hour.
