Estimate Materials
Use this form to do the following:
- View and maintain information about the materials needed for a specific estimate job operation.
- Enter cost information for materials for a specific estimate job.
- Maintain information about each job material (for reference purposes).
The Costs tab contains the cost information for a specific operation.
Use the References tab to view information about each estimate material. You can enter one record for each quantity listed on the estimate material record. For example, if you enter a quantity of four, enter four reference records.
Note:
- If the ECN Use for Estimate BOM/Routings inventory parameter is set to All, you cannot add or make changes to estimate materials or operations.
- If the estimate job is a Rework order, the estimate job bill of material can have a material that is the same as the estimate job's end item. This recursive BOM structure is allowed only for rework orders.
