Engineering Change Notices
Use this form to control and track revisions made to a bill of material or to the routing of an item. ECN functionality is configured on the Inventory Parameters form.
For an item that is flagged with the Revision Track field on the Items form, changes can only be made through an ECN. An ECN allows you to track who made the change and why. You can set up distribution lists for communicating an ECN to people who need to know about and approve the change before it is made.
This form allows you to retrieve a revision of an item if you want to create jobs based on that item.
