Variable Labor

Enter the account number for the Variable Overhead Usage Variance account. If you are using Standard costing, the system uses this account number for job labor transactions where the actual hours do not equal the time it should have taken to complete the units.

Note: This field maintains a G/L account number. The account number you enter in this field must be a valid account number in the Chart of Accounts.
