Total Unit Cost
The accumulated total of the Unit Cost (std unit cost) fields displays. The calculation for this value is:
PTUC = M + F + D + B + I + L
- PTUC = Purchased Total Unit Cost (for purchased Items)
- M = Material
- F = Freight
- D = Duty
- B = Brokerage
- I = Insurance
- L = Local Freight
MTUC = MC + LC + FOC + VOC = OC
- MTUC = Manufactured Total Unit Cost (for manufactured Items)
- MC = Material Cost
- LC = Labor Cost
- FOC = Fixed Overhead Cost
- VOC = Variable Overhead Cost
- OC = Outside Cost
Note: For all cost
methods on purchased items, the current unit cost can be updated for material,
freight, duty, brokerage, insurance, and local freight.
