Total Unit Cost

The accumulated total of the Unit Cost (std unit cost) fields displays. The calculation for this value is:

PTUC = M + F + D + B + I + L

  • PTUC = Purchased Total Unit Cost (for purchased Items)
  • M = Material
  • F = Freight
  • D = Duty
  • B = Brokerage
  • I = Insurance
  • L = Local Freight

MTUC = MC + LC + FOC + VOC = OC

  • MTUC = Manufactured Total Unit Cost (for manufactured Items)
  • MC = Material Cost
  • LC = Labor Cost
  • FOC = Fixed Overhead Cost
  • VOC = Variable Overhead Cost
  • OC = Outside Cost
Note:  For all cost methods on purchased items, the current unit cost can be updated for material, freight, duty, brokerage, insurance, and local freight.
