Scheduled Ship Date

The scheduled ship date displays. The system calculates this field to indicate the date that the item must be shipped in order for it to arrive on the scheduled receipt date. The equation is:

Schd Ship Date = (Sch Rcpt Date) - (Transit Time) - (Dock-to-Stock)

where:

• Schd Ship Date is the scheduled ship date
• Schd Rcpt Date is the scheduled receipt date
• Transit Time is defined between the From Site and To Site on the Inter-Site Parameters form for that combination of sites.
• Dock-to-Stock Lead Time is defined on the To Site's Items record.

The manufacturing calendar of the From Site is used in calculating the scheduled ship date. The scheduled receipt date cannot be less than the scheduled ship date.
