Release Rule

Select a rule to determine how an arriving job affects the quantity for a forming batch load, that is, when a batch will be released to be processed. This rule is used in conjunction with the Value, Minimum, and Maximum fields. For example, if you select One per Job with a minimum of three, then whenever three jobs arrive and are ready for processing, a batch is created and begins processing through the batch definition routing.

Rule	Description
One Per Job	Count one per job.
One per Item	Count the quantity in the job.
Attribute Value	Count based on the batching release attributes specified for each item on the Items form. These release attributes (Release 1, Release 2, Release 3) are multiplied together (for those greater than zero) to determine how much this job or production schedule will contribute to the batch.
Constant Value	Count based on the number in the Value field.
