Obsolete Date

Enter the date on which this material is no longer part of the current BOM.

For deletions, enter the date on which the deletion is to be effective. This applies only to substitutions in the standard bill of material.

Note: The Obsolete date on this material's parent operation overrides this Obsolete date. That is, if the operation is skipped, this component will also be skipped. If the operation is not skipped, the effective and obsolete dates for the component materials will then be considered.
