Net Change

This field applies to MRP.

When this field is selected, the system will plan this item during the next Net Change run of MRP Planning. This field is selected automatically when you make a change to any record in the system that would affect on-hand quantities, lead times, dates, requirements or receipts for this item. You can also select the Net Change field manually.

Once the Net Change field is selected (regardless of whether the system selected automatically or you selected it), you cannot change it until after the next time you run MRP Planning.

This field also displays on these forms and reports as an indicator that the item will be included in the next Net Change run of MRP Planning:

  • Planning Detail
  • Planning Summary
  • Exceptions Report
