Job
On the Job Orders form, enter the job number to use to identify this job order. The job references this order, and must be unique throughout the system. You are often asked to enter a job number to refer to a job order. The system generates the next available job number automatically and displays it after adding a new job order.
On the Copy Routing/BOM form, this field (in the From column) is accessible only if you selected Job or Job Estimate in the Copy From field. Enter or select the number of the job or estimate from which the information will be copied. In the To column, enter the number of the job to which the copy routing information will be copied. If you leave this field blank, the next available job number will be used (this number will display at the conclusion of the copy process).
On the Export Routing BOM form, this field is accessible only if you selected Job or Estimate in the From field. Enter or select the number of the job or job estimate whose information you want to export.
On the BOM Import Builder form, this field is accessible only if you selected Job or Estimate Job in the Category field. Enter or select the number of the job or job estimate.
On the Job Lot Splitting form, enter the job number of the job to split into two jobs. The job number entered must be for a job that has a status of either Stopped or Released.
On the Customer Order Document Lifecycle form, the number of the job associated with the customer order is displayed.
On the Customer Service Impact form, the job order number is displayed.
