Fixed Schedule Hours

Note: This field affects APS and scheduling only. Costing still requires the Setup Hrs and Run Hrs/Unit. Outside operations (operations that specify an Outside work center) will always use fixed schedule hours, regardless of whether the Use Fixed Schedule field is selected.

If the Use Fixed Schedule field is selected on the Operations forms, enter the expected total amount of time for the operation in this field. If you enter 0 in this field, zero hours will be scheduled for operation.

This value overrides the Setup hours and run hours per unit fields for planning and scheduling purposes (however, Move, Queue, and Finish time are still applied if they are entered). See About Operation Run Time - Planning and Scheduling for more information.
