End Date/Due Date

On the Job Orders and Estimate Job Orders forms, enter the date the job should be finished. When you enter the End date, the system plans backward by the item's lead time to arrive at the Start date. Or, you may enter the Start date and allow the system to plan forward by the item's lead time to arrive at the End date. See the topic for the Start date field for information about the Start and End dates may be populated or changed automatically by APS or the Scheduler.

On the Resource Sequencing, Resource Group Sequencing, Resource Schedule, Resource Group Schedule, Resource Plan, Resource Group Plan, and Late Jobs forms, this date displays from the Job Orders form.

On the Production Schedule Items, Production Schedule Release Operations, and Production Schedule Release Materials forms, this field displays the date that the production schedule release is expected to be received into inventory.

On the Customer Order Document Lifecycle form, the end date for the job associated with the customer order is displayed.

On the Planning Detail and Delay Detail APS forms, this field displays one of several dates depending on the type of planning detail record:

For this Demand/Supply Record... the End field contains
Forecast Forecast date
Customer order line item Due date
Transfer order line item (demand) Sched Ship date
Transfer order line item (supply) Sched Recvd date
Project material Start date (of the project task)
Job supply End date
PO item/release Due date
PO Requisition item Due date

If you are using APS, the Get ATP/CTP calculation will plan to the End date, so make sure the End date is the desired date before you click the Get ATP/CTP button.

Note:  The system may populate or update this date based on current plan data, depending on whether you are using MRP or APS. See About Job Dates for more information.
