On the Unit of Measure Codes form, enter a description for the selected unit of measure. On other forms, the description is display-only.
Caution:
Use caution
in setting up and maintaining units of measure. For example, it is possible
to add two units of measure, one defined as EA and another as EAC. For
both units of measure it is possible to enter "Each" as the
description.
