Delay (Days)

The number of days past the need date that this demand will be available. Only late-demand operations have Delay. For manufactured items, delay consists of longer-than-expected processing due to contention for resources and off-shift periods when the operation is not active. For purchased items, delay corresponds to delivery lead time. You should focus on reducing the delays to improve a demand's lateness. A decimal value indicates a fractional number of days based on a 24-hour day; for example, 0.5 = 12 hours.
