Cycle Triggered

This field is automatically activated when a cycle count has been triggered.

The Cycle Triggered field can be activated in one of these ways, depending on the value you identified in the Cycle Type field:

• If the cycle type is Day Frequency, the system evaluates the number of days since the last cycle count each time a miscellaneous receipt, a miscellaneous issue, or a job issue transaction is performed. When the system finds that the number of days since the last cycle count exceeds the number specified in the Cycle Freq field, the system activates the Cycle Triggered flag.
  Note:  For this cycle type only, a Cycle Count record is created if the date condition is met, without regard to the status of the Cycle Triggered flag.
• If the cycle type is Receipt, the Cycle Triggered flag is activated when a receipt transaction is processed against the item.
• If the cycle type is Zero Qty, the system evaluates the quantity on hand each time a transaction decreases Item Warehouse Qty. When the system finds that the quantity on hand has fallen to or below zero, it activates the Cycle Triggered flag.
• If the cycle type is Issue, the Cycle Triggered flag is activated when an issue transaction is processed against the item.

Cycle Triggered is a display-only field and cannot be manually updated.
