Create Lot

This field is enabled for returns (when the Received field is greater than zero).

The Create Lot field is used with the Transit Lot field when the transfer record for a lot-tracked item does not reference an existing transit lot/location:

  • If Create Lot is not selected, validation fails and an error message displays.
  • If Create Lot is selected, validation succeeds and a new lot number is created for the received items.
