Controlled by External Warehouse

Select this option if the warehouse operations are controlled by an application other than SyteLine. When you select this option, many SyteLine operations are prevented for this warehouse. For more information, see Using an External Warehouse Application.

If you select this field for a warehouse, both of these conditions must be true before you can save the warehouse record:

• No inventory exists in the current warehouse
• There is not more than one Item Stockroom Location with a location type of Stock for the warehouse

If you clear this field when it was previously selected and saved for a warehouse, the same conditions must exist before you can save the record.
