Firming a Planned Order into a Production Schedule

When the Source field on the General tab on the Items form shows that the source for this item is Manufactured and the Production Type on the Planning tab is Prod Sched, the system firms the selected planned order into a production schedule.

  1. From the Planning Detail form, select the planned order you want to firm.
    Note:  You can select only one planned order at a time to firm into a production schedule.
  2. Click Firm. The system takes you to the Generate Production Schedules utility.
  3. Click Process to generate the production schedule.
