Removing Categories or Items from the Hierarchy for Customer Portal

To remove categories and/or items from the item category hierarchy:

  1. Open the Item Category Workbench form.
  2. In the hierarchy tree, select the category or subcategory from which to remove subcategories or individual items.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To remove a subcategory and all associated items: On the Categories tab, clear the check boxes for subcategories to remove and then select Actions > Save. When you remove the subcategory, all associated items are also removed.
    • To remove individual items: On the Items tab, clear the check boxes for items to remove and then select Actions > Save.
