Purchase Orders Quick Entry widget

Search for or update an existing purchase order, or create a new PO with lines:

  • View or edit an existing PO: Expand the top line to view or edit the order header. Expand any order line to view or edit the order line details.
  • Create a PO: Click New Order and fill in the order header fields. Click Save.
  • Add a line to a PO: Click New Line, fill out the line detail information, and click Save.
  • Undo a change: On a new PO or line, click Cancel to cancel the change. On an existing order or line, click Refresh to return to the last saved version of the order.

Filter: If a customer filter is set in the Vendor Lookup widget, that vendor is used by default when creating a purchase order here. If an item filter is set in the Item Lookup widget, that item is displayed here. You can clear the filters to display other customers or orders here.

Drillback: Click View Details in Application to open the Purchase Orders Quick Entry form. Use the application form if you want these features:

  • Delete a PO or line
  • Add notes or documents to the PO or line
  • Send an email related to the PO or line
  • Create multiple new POs or lines without saving
  • Get help about a specific field
  • Export to Excel
Note: Use this widget for regular POs. To create or update blanket POs, you must use the appropriate form in the application.
