Customer Orders Quick Entry

Search for or update an existing customer order, or create a new order with lines:

  • View or edit an existing order: Expand the top line to view or edit the order header. Expand any order line to view or edit the order line details.
  • Create an order: Click New Order and fill in the order header fields. Click Save.
  • Add a line to an order: Click New Line, fill out the line detail information, and click Save.
  • Undo a change: On a new order or line, click Cancel to cancel the change. On an existing order or line, click Refresh to return to the last saved version of the order.

Filter: If a customer filter is set in the Customer/Prospect Lookup widget, that customer is used by default when creating a customer order here. If an order filter is set in the Customer Orders Lookup widget, that order is displayed here. You can clear the filters to display other customers or orders here.

Drillback: Click View Details in Application to open the Customer Orders Quick Entry form. Use the application form if you want these features:

  • View or create blanket orders
  • Delete an order or line
  • Add notes or documents to the order or line
  • Send an email related to the order or line
  • Create multiple new orders or lines without saving
  • Get help about a specific field
  • Export to Excel
