A VAT refund occurs when the VAT input value
exceeds the VAT output value for a VAT reporting period. The VAT refund is submitted
electronically.

Online submission of refund applications is available to all businesses, except foreign businesses under the Directorate for Residents Abroad and General Services.
There is no electronic message. The declaration is performed manually by entering the data online.
