Environmental reporting and taxation
Environmental data must be reported, and, in some
instances, additional charges or taxes are imposed. Common examples include payment of extra
charges for packaging to a recycling organization and tax for volatile organic
compounds.
France specifics
A carbon tax must be applied on product sales based on mileage to deliver the goods.
For furnishing items, companies must charge a recycling fee per product in addition to the price of the product. The fee must be displayed in the invoice.
