Using DataViews for data archiving in France
When you close a fiscal year, you must archive data so that it can be retrieved in case
of an audit.
Some SyteLine "home" forms include report and editing tools called DataViews that you can use to produce and store the necessary information.
For example, if you open the Controller Home form and go to the DataViews tab, you can access DataViews for this type of information, and specify the range of transaction dates:
- General ledger transactions
- A/P posted transactions
- A/R posted transactions
- Bank reconciliations
The Inventory Control Home form has a DataViews tab where you can report on shipment or receipt transactions for a range of dates - and so on with other Home formns.
