Type

On the Financial Statement Line Definition form, this field determines the type of information of this sequence line. Your choices are:

Account: This sequence line maintains an account number.
Total: Displays the amount for a specified subtotal level.
Text: This sequence line maintains a line of text.
Net Income: Calculates the net income for the period covered by this report and prints the result for this sequence line.

Note: Net Income will look at all Revenue and Expense accounts.

Note: After you have defined which sequence lines are type Total, go to the Financial Statement Line Definition form to define your sub-total ranges and actions.

On the Financial Statement Preview form, the Type associated with the displayed Sequence Line number is displayed. This type is defined in the Financial Statement Line Definition form.
