Status

The status of each journal displays:

• To Print: This journal has transactions that meet the criteria set up in the parameters above, but needs a Journal Transaction Report printed. You may select for posting any journal with this status.
• To Post: This journal is midway through the posting process - that is, the Journal Transaction Report has been printed for it and it is waiting to be posted. You may select for posting any journal with this status.
• Out of Range: All the journal transactions are outside of the Post Through date.

  Journals with dates prior to the Post Through date will be assigned the status To Print. The Mass Journal Posting activity does not stop processing to report warning messages, such as Out of Period. These warnings display after all posting is complete.

• Empty: The journal is either new and has no transactions in it, or it has been recently posted to the ledger and has no transactions in it.
• Posted: The journal posted successfully.
