Reference

Enter a brief description of the transaction. The reference can be used to group transactions. This field is part of the selection criteria for the Journal Transaction Report or Multi-FSB Journal Transaction Report; you can list all transactions with a particular reference.

Note: If you migrated from a PROGRESS version of SyteLine, this reference number is not one of the fields that now has expanded numbers, so the reference you see here is the same as it appeared in your PROGRESS version of SyteLine.

All the debits and credits for the same reference should equal zero.
