Current Period Units

Enter the current period units or accept the value calculated by the system. Use this field only when the depreciation method for the asset is Usage. If you entered values in the Prior Counter Reading and Current Counter Reading fields, the system calculates this field. The current period units is the number of units expensed for an asset during the current accounting period.

For example, units for an automobile could be number of miles. The Current Period Units would be the mileage placed on the car since the last accounting period.
