Trading Partner Code

On the EDI Customer Profiles form, enter the customer's unique trading partner code. This code is established in the translator from a 2 character trading partner code and a 15 character destination code (for a maximum of 17 characters). This field is used by the import procedure.

Note: The system will only use the first 7 characters for ASN exports and imports. These characters must be unique.

On the EDI Vendor Profiles form, enter the vendor's unique trading partner code (maximum seven characters). This field is used by both the export procedure and import procedure.
