Prerequisites

Ensure that these prerequisites are met:

• Use the upgrade.exe tool to upgrade your SQL database from its existing version of SyteLine or SyteLine to Database Level 0 (DL 0). During this upgrade, your forms, application and objects databases are consolidated into an all-in-one database model.
• If you are using any third-party applications that are approved for use with Single Version (SV), run the upgrade that is provided by the third-party application. You must be running the latest pre-SV version of that product. To determine which third-party applications are approved, contact your Infor representative.
• If you are moving from on-premises to the cloud, use the CopySite utility to copy all of your sites into a single database.
  Note: This step can be run later, at any time before you run the Database Validation and Prep Tool for the second time to remediate the database for your move to the cloud. See the appendix on “Copying an Existing Site into an Existing Database (Multiple Sites per Database)” in the Infor SyteLine Multi-Site Implementation Guide.
• Ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the Single Version Installer, which includes the DBValidatorUI.exe file. The Single Version Installer is found on the Infor Support Portal Download Center.
