Shipped Before Due Date Tolerance

Use this field to specify how many days before the due date a shipment can be made and still pass DIFOT (Delivered In Full and On Time) standards.

When the system calculates DIFOT, this value determines whether DIFOT fails because a shipment was early. This setting does not control whether shipments can be made early. This setting only controls how early shipments are evaluated for the DIFOT standard. For more information, see About DIFOT (Delivered In Full and On Time).

Specify one of these values:

• Blank: Early shipments are not evaluated for DIFOT.
• 0 (zero): No early shipments are allowed.
• Positive numbers: This number sets the number of days a shipment can be early, before which it fails DIFOT standards.

On the Order Entry Parameters form, this field sets the system default values.

On the Update Order DIFOT Policy form, this field determines the value to which selected records are set in the Customer Order Lines form and Customer Order Blanket Releases form.
